We are proud of our tradition of always being ahead of
the curve for customer quality mandates.
In 1997, Unified Industries became the first crane
manufacturer to be certified to the ISO 9001:1994 Quality System
Standard. In 1998, we upgraded to the QS-9000 TE standard to conform to
Customer requirements. We were again the first crane manufacturer to
achieve this certification.
In May of 2001, Unified achieved ISO 14001 certification
which it presently holds.
As further recognition of our commitment to
environmental stewardship, Unified was designated a Clean Corporate
Citizen by the Michigan
Department of Environmental Quality in September of 2001.
Well ahead of the
automotive industry requirement, Unified was certified to the new ISO
9001:2000 standard in October, 2005.
